Xradar™ Concrete Scanning

Xradar™ Concrete Scanning is the Engineering Standard for Concrete Imaging, and accuracy is assured. It allows you to prevent injuries and save time, money and headaches by choosing to locate and map the position of Post-Tension cables, voids, rebar and electrical conduits embedded in concrete.

Xradar™ Asia allows you to view many objects that remain hidden through conventional GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) scanning. Xradar can “see” through wire mesh, distinguish between electrical conduits, radiant heating lines, P.T cables and steel reinforcement (rebar). This service is unique and ideal for complex concrete slabs. Like GPR, it is also far more advanced than Concrete X-Ray, providing the accuracy of X-Ray with the safety and efficiency of GPR.

We can detect and map anything embedded in concrete, including the following:

Xradar Asia | Concrete Scanning | Concrete Test | Concrete Mapping | GPR
Post-tensioned cables
Xradar Asia | Concrete Scanning | Concrete Test | Concrete Mapping | GPR
Steel reinforcement (rebar), including spacing, diameter and depth
Xradar Asia | Concrete Scanning | Concrete Test | Concrete Mapping | GPR
Foundations & Voids within and below the concrete slab
Xradar Asia | Concrete Scanning | Concrete Test | Concrete Mapping | GPR
Electrical conduits (plastic & metallic)
Xradar Asia | Concrete Scanning | Concrete Test | Concrete Mapping | GPR
Any other object embedded in concrete

Scanning Concrete to Cut or Drill

Xradar™ eliminates the accidental cutting and drilling through embedded objects and the high costs required for their repair if cut or damaged. It is the safest and most cost effective way to locating objects in concrete structures prior to cutting, coring or drilling.

This service is also faster and safer than conventional radiography (Concrete X-Ray) and only single-sided access is needed. Concrete Scanning with Xradar™ is highly recommended before you cut, core or drill.
