As part of an infrastructure upgrade at Genting Highlands, a structural strengthening plan was developed involving the addition of corbel beams to 4 existing concrete columns.
To ensure the corbels could be installed safely without damaging internal reinforcements, the client required high-precision scanning to locate and assess the steel layout within each column.
Our enhanced concrete scanning technology mapped out the reinforcement in all 4 columns. All scanning was completed in under 2 hours. The detailed subsurface imaging allowed the client to mark out safe drilling areas with confidence, ensuring the strengthening works could proceed without delay.
